A little weasel, running into a bit of rabbit fur stuck on a thorn. He speeds towards it, head down, ears back and whiskers forward.
Wonderful little weasel, brought to me by the kids of a school. It has been preserved for educational purposes.
~To whom it may concern, (please read before accusing me of anything!)
NONE of the animals I work on are killed for the purpose of taxidermy only and most are found along side the road or come from bird/animal breeders in the area.

Ooo *pets the little weasel*... you know, taxidermy is also big in Bavaria and usually whenever I came across one of those preserved guys (usually larger bird, badgers, foxes and of course stag heads!) they'd freak the living crap out of me till well in my teens. I always wondered why that was, now I know. They just looked.. dead... somehow put back together (foxes and anything else that has remotely impressive teeth usually with a snarl on their face), but still dead.
I love your work, your little guys look like they are going to hop off their base in a second.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.

In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
