Taxidermy - Goldfinch by Illahie Taxidermy - Goldfinch by Illahie
Goldfinch, holding a small flowered branch.

~To whom it may concern, (please read before accusing me of anything!)
NONE of the animals I work on are killed for the purpose of taxidermy alone and most are found along side the road or come from bird/animal breeders in the area.

I am a permit holding and fully registered taxidermist

Is all of your work commission based or do you taxi some animals first to sell at a later date?

Asking solely because I adore your birds and one day I'd love to own one, but as I'm not a hunter or fortunate enough to come across intact dead birds I wouldn't be able to provide you with one to be stuffed!

This is stunning! Oh my gosh the colours. You went with a really natural setting, too, which takes this over the top into wonderful.

I quite like the base on this one. It's simple but suggestive enough of the setting. Very nice job on the bird mount!
