Taxidermy - 'First Snow'

A barn owl stands and watches as the lands around her seem to have suddenly changed.. it's the first time she sees it, the first snow.

Yet another car victim.. it happens to barn-owls A LOT over here. Got this bird as a gift from a colleague, tags and everything. She has a lovely color.. bright light orange, with a stunning light grey back. On her face she has a copper colored face mask that adds A LOT of character to her... in short.. she's gorgeous..

Barns owl are so enchanting..

This bird died because it was hit by a car. NONE of the animals I work on are killed for the purpose of taxidermy only and most are found along side the road or come from bird breeders in the area.
