A few days ago the blizzard went down so it was safer to go outside with the ferret. The snow is about and around knee high right now, so the ferret is well and truely covered by it. When Duncan comes out he dives into the snow, and basically walk underneath the snow layers.

I have a little herb garden that is in a round shape, and in the middle of it is a small path to stand in. The whole herb garden was covered in snow, but looked like a equal leveled thing. Duncan walked about on it, and I thought it was cute so I wanted to take a picture but suddenly DROPPED into the snow. Obviously, the wee footpath in the middle fell through. At first he was scared, but later on he popped his little head out and climbed the herb garden snow, to do it again!

Yay for teh snow ferret! Great photo, it captures the very essence that is ferret; mischeif and generally silly antics.
Lovely contrast too, black ferret on white fluffy stuff works well.

Ferrets rock. :)

At least Duncan is small, lightweight and has little webbed toes! It should help him walk on the snow a little easier than my eighty pound sled dog. XD But she still think she can do it.

XD Yeah, he won't sink too deep.. but his webby feet don't get him far with the powder snow we're having XD And it's just too darned cute to see him sink in!

Oh! Thin snow! XD Poor guy, I thought you were having at least some snow that came down thick. Oh well. But I'd watch out for him! That picture almost says "Why you ... Why did you bring me out here? Don't sleep tonight..."
