Seppenator tattoo by Illahie Seppenator tattoo by Illahie
Seppe really wanted a tattoo done that had the maned wolf character I did for a while back ( [link] ) but a more solid knotwork around it. She suggest something that went all around the critter, but after knotting around for a while I found that the character got 'lost' in it.. and didn't get any attention anymore.... so I took off the top part and left it more open. Hopefully Seppe will like it!

One single line knotwork.. go on, traces it with ya finger.. you know you want to ;D

It would be great it you would ever be able to come across the big pond over to my side :D I could show you around, walk in the woods, draw on your suitcase and whatnot XD

Can't wait to see the picture when it's done :D Will you be adding color later on? or just keeping it black and white?

Follows the line around and around and around and around and around! ;D
Wonderful! And I agree leaving the top open was a great touch! Should make a wonderful tatoo! :)

Very effective compositional arrangement! I agree with you in that the wolf would have been lost with a top frame of knotwork.

...and it really IS all one big happy knot; I checked... My GOODNESS you have patience! And a sense of geometric balance, which I seriously lack. I love to see you do these knots, because I know I simply couldn't handle it. :D

Same reason why I love your character design.. I simply cannot do those either XD I always wanted to commission you for a tiny character piece of GrayWolf :D

Sounds like fun! Do you mind waiting until the month of May? I have a truckload of projects that I am finishing right now, so I want to wait until May when I should have some free time available once again.
