A interesting commission to say the least, one that had me browsing traditional clothing for a long time, before finally settling on the Furisode kimono. The mask is based on a Han dynasty figure.
The commissioner requested a traditional fox-coloured kitsune, holding a human faced mask. The kimono is dirty, ragged and not properly tucked in at the top, because although the Kitsune knows how to wear the kimono, she doesn't know it should be presentable. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces.
