House Jormungandr by Illahie House Jormungandr by Illahie
The new emblem for House Jormungandr :)

Sometimes referred to as the "Hall of the World Serpent," House Jormungandr was first conceived in 2004 by Taškr ormstunga, who chose its name and device, and continued as a joint project between its founding members; Taškr ormstunga, Senen meśou-nešed, Toomachi no Shichiro, and Anejiro no Tamiko.

Named for the world serpent of Norse mythology, House Jormungandr is a crafting and fighting household whose active members span from the Barony of Adiantum to the Barony of Madrone. They emulate the appearance and structure of a Norse Icelandic gošorš and mead hall, but include personae of various geographical and period origin. They claim allegiance to no particular shire or barony, and instead consider themselves while attending SCA events to be Icelandic mercenaries and traders visiting the mainland.

Wow, this really cool. Whats this for exactly? A story you're writing? Cause, the symbol for the baddies in my book is a ouroboros, whih is either a serpent eating his tail, or two snakes eating each other.

It's for a SCA household.. so basically it's the banner for a re-enactment group :)

Ooh, will look more into this later when I get the chance.
All your Celtic art looks so well and perfectly recreated. Well done! I look forward to seeing more as always. :)

Interestingly, it is two Orabouras's together. :)

Not technically, since the snakes aren't biting their own tails.

True, they're biting each others. You could argue an extended Ourabourus, If you wanted to.
