Foxfeather Talon pendant

The jackdaw leg pendant for Foxfeather. This was done using freeze-dry methods.. why? With freeze-drying everything keeps it's original volume, and doesn't look dries out or boney, which does happen when you naturally dry things. The leg is holding a Smokey Quartz.

This bird died because it was hit by a car. NONE of the animals I work on are killed for the purpose of taxidermy only and most are found along side the road or come from bird breeders in the area. Also, these talon pendants are much more then just 'cool things to hang around your neck', they have personal power need to be treated with respect. I do not sell these items for that reason, they are earned by people who will treat them with respect.
